L1 Compact System
Powerful, compact and rugged amplifier delivers 250 watts of power from a small, three-pound metal enclosure. Designed to drive up to two additional B1 bass modules running on L1 Model I or Model II systems. Recommended for anyone seeking more low-end output, including bass players, drummers and DJs.
Intelligent L1 system connections match the amplifier gain with B1 bass modules and L1 Model I and Model II power stands. Simply connect the amp to the power stand and modules, and the system automatically increases bass level without altering your tone.
Automatic input gain control senses whether the input signal is balanced or unbalanced and automatically adjusts gain.
Loudspeaker limiter protects connected loudspeakers from distortion damage. Eliminates the need for an outboard limiter and additional cable routing.
Thru connector enables daisy-chaining of PackLite extended bass packages to one L1 Model I or Model II system.

Result - a complete, self contained and powered system with passive and active crossover networks, engineered pre-equalization and power limiting, and separate stereo and subwoofer level controls - all built in, making the Excursion Series the ultimate in compact live/DJ systems. A complete PA system that truly is "Plug and Play."At the core of the Excursion1000 is a 15-inch-loaded reflex subwoofer that houses all the electronics including a total of five integrated power amplifier modules. 650 Watts is dedicated to the subwoofer and a total of 300 Watts is fed to the satellite loudspeakers comprising 125 to each mid driver and 25 to each high-frequency horn.The satellite speakers are connected to the subwoofer with two custom 8m Speakon cables that are included with the package.
