The TRAKTOR Scratch Multicore Cable - Replacement Cable from Native Instruments is designed for maximum plug-and-play usability with two color-coded connector cables grouping all necessary connections into one pro quality audio cable. Two sets of cable are included.

The first is the "Mixer Segment" cable that connects a turntable or CD player with the mixer segment. The cable consists of a single female XLR connector on a 4 ft (120 cm) cable, terminated in four RCA male and two RCA female connectors.

The Native Instruments Traktor Scratch "One click per deck" Multicore Cables ensure quick and easy connection between mixer, decks and AUDIO 8 DJ interface. The patent pending cables mean you will no longer lose precious time sorting and hooking up cables.

The mixer at home or in the club only needs to be hooked up once. Thanks to the professional XLR plugs, the AUDIO 8 DJ can be connected and disconnected in an instant. As the cable is specially wired, the phono signal is always routed, allowing you to play traditional vinyl without connecting the AUDIO 8 DJ. Changeovers between DJs can be achieved with a minimum of disturbance.

Each Mixer segment cable is comprised of 4 male RCAs for connecting Phono and Line-In plugs to your mixer, plus 2 female RCAs for connecting the turntable.

The TRAKTOR SCRATCH Multicore cables are specially engineered to be not only the most practical, but also the best-sounding cabling solution for a digital DJ system. The patent-pending design effectively prevents any degradation in signal quality that is usually associated with Y-cables and phono-through functions of DJ audio interfaces.

The engineering of the Multicore cables includes a special capacity balancing of the cable segments, high-quality shielding and wiring, and a short additional signal travel of 40cm from the turntable to the mixer

The cable design is complemented with a special high-impedance 1mOhm "timecode vinyl" mode on the AUDIO 8 DJ interface, which minimizes the electrical load on the sensitive turntable signal.

The new MAGMA SWITCHBOX .V2 Digital-DJ makes it easier than ever to transition between two DJ's, without having to unplug the decks and mixer to connect a new soundcard. It provides a hustle-free changeover in the DJ-Booth, enabling two DJ interfaces (any model) to be connected simultaneously to a mixer (even a two channel battle mixer). It features a three-way selector switch to assign the signal from the decks to either interface to switch between two digital DJ setups, or send it directly to the mixer (THRU).

In addition to switching between two soundcards, the MAGMA SWITCHBOX .V2 features connections for two turntables and two CD players. A Mode switch enables either system to be controlled via CD or vinyl. Forget the days of unplugging one deck at a time when you finish your set, and reaching behind the mixer to fish for your cables. You can now patch into the system without getting in the way of the previous DJ finishing his set. When you are ready to play your first record, just select a deck from the MAGMA SWITCHBOX .V2 and you are good to go. When you are done with your set, you can unplug at anytime without interrupting the next DJ.

The MAGMA SWITCHBOX .V2 also enables Ping-Pong or Tag Team Style at which 2 or more DJs are alternating after each song. So if there are 2 DJs performing with each of their laptops (e.g.: DJ A: Traktor Scratch und DJ B: Serato), the turntables (or CD-players) can easily be routed towards the desired audio source.
