Calling All DJs Whether you’re throwing multiple elements into the mix, or just keeping it simple, there’s a USB-ready NOX Series mixer that’s ideal for you. The NOX606 packs a whopping 6 channels, the NOX1010 has five, the NOX303 has three, and the NOX202 and NOX404 each have two channels. The user-adjustable crossfader curves let you quickly adapt to various mixing styles.
Beat-syncable FX A useful and powerful addition to NOX Series mixers is the internal effects engine. This processor offers 12 high-quality digital effects that can be assigned to the microphone, channel 1 or 2, crossfader A or B, or the main mix. Each effect has several parameters that can be adjusted to suit your purpose. In general, the TAP button is used to beat-sync the effect to the tempo of the music by pressing it in rhythm. The INTENSITY fader usually controls the wet/dry mix of the effect (how much is blended with the unaffected signal). The FREQUENCY knob can have various assignments. In beat-sync mode (engaged by tapping the rhythm with the TAP button), it will determine the tempo multiple. It can also adjust the rate on its own, if beat-sync is not engaged or not available.
Here’s a brief description of the FX available in every NOX Series mixer:
2XCOPY: Makes a copy of the signal, which is delayed by a defined time. TAPE ECHO: A simulation of the echo effect that occurs between two tape reels, which has a warm, slightly decayed sound. ECHO: A more modern delay effect, which is very useful for juggling beats and emphasizing musical phrases. FLANGER: A flanger is a wave-like effect that modulates the signal. PHASER: A sweeping phase shifter effect. It is similar to a flanger, except that it is enharmonic, producing a more “swooshing” sound. LP and HP FILTER: A Low Pass filter cuts out any frequency above its parameter settings. A High Pass filter cuts out frequencies below its parameter settings. AUTO PAN: Automatically moves the signal from one side of the stereo image to the other. VOCODER: Creates a robot voice sound straight from the early days of electronic music. REVERB: This is a classic effect that adds space and air to the sound. REV REVERB: Reverse reverb.LMT+DIST: Band-limited distortion creates a tight, compressed and distorted sound to any signal.
Total Control The NOX202, NOX303, NOX404 and NOX1010 models provide superb tone control, thanks to a 3-band EQ and full-kill filters, Gain control and precise level meter per channel. Meanwhile, the NOX606 features 4-band channel EQ and level meter for MAIN output, plus a post-fader mono output to drive subwoofers. All NOX Series mixers feature extensive headphone monitoring and cueing options.

The XP 2016S may be mounted directly above or below the MP 2016S, and connected with the included ribbon cable.
So you say,"Great, but to accommodate the diverse needs of all DJ mixing styles, I need dedicated high performance three-band, full-cut, Accelerated-Slope tone controls for each of the six Input Channels, high-performance Active-Crossfader with full range contour control, A-Post-B crossfader assign switches and a stereo, 10-segment, peak dBu Master/Cue meter with peak hold; all without effecting the ergonomics of my classic rotary mixer."
We've got you covered! With the flip of a switch on the MP 2016S front panel, you can engage the optional XP 2016S External Processor and acquire all of these features.
The XP 2016S is an optional external processor designed specifically for use with the MP 2016S. The XP 2016S is intended to mount above or below the MP 2016S. It connects with a single 10-inch ribbon cable and is engaged with the flip of a switch on the MP 2016S front panel. If an XP 2016S is not connected, the XP 2016S engage switch on the MP 2016S has no effect.
The XP 2016S provides dedicated Accelerated-Slope, 3-band, full-cut tone controls for each of the six stereo Input channels, A-Post-B Crossfader Assign switches for all six Input channels, a high-performance Active Crossfader with full range Contour control, and a stereo 10-segment peak dBu Master/Cue Meter with peak hold.
The six stereo, post Mix Level signals in the MP 2016S are fed to the XP 2016S. When the XP 2016S is not engaged, the post Mix Level signals go directly to the Master Mix in the MP 2016S. When the XP 2016S is engaged, the stereo Master Mix comes from the XP 2016S.
If all Input channels on the XP 2016S are assigned Post-Crossfader, the Mix will be identical to the MP 2016S (with the addition of tone controls for each Input channel). For Crossfader control, simply assign a channel to the A or B side of the Crossfader. The Active Crossfader features a full-range Contour control for smooth blending or ultra fast cuts.
The Master/Cue Meter follows the source selection of the headphone monitor on the MP 2016S. If Master is selected, the XP 2016S Meter monitors the pre-house-level Master signal. If Cue is selected, the XP 2016S meter monitors the Cue Source.
The XP 2016S matches the MP 2016S ergonomics, packaged in a compact 19 inch, 3U rack mount chassis, 5 inches deep.
Features:
Active-Crossfader with full-range Contour control
A-POST-B Crossfader assign switches

Here’s where it all started. As the first model in the range, the Xone:464 paved the way with superior sound and build quality never seen before in a DJ mixer. A dedicated club mixer, designed to please both club technicians and the performing DJ, its combination of versatility and fine craftsmanship mean it is still the first choice for venues where DJ’s and engineers are serious about their music.
It shares the same solid construction as Allen & Heath’s pro touring desks, so venues can depend on it for outstanding audio and reliability, whilst the renowned Xone analogue filters and 4-band asymmetric EQ make it an incredibly creative tool for DJ’s to enjoy. The 4 fully-featured mic/line inputs mean live performers can join the mix, adding a new dimension to the stunning feature set.
4 fully-featured mono/mic performance channels with 100mm faders 6 dual stereo channels with RCA and TRS sources on each channel
2 independent outputs on XLR or TRS, with full metering
6 aux sends from every channel for monitors or FX sends
4 stereo, 2 mono zone outputs with rotary control

Mastering Different Zones The DJM-5000 features two flexible output modes: multi-zone and standard. In multi-zone mode, the mixer’s outputs can be dedicated to multiple audio sources and distributed to two different areas or rooms. For example, this groundbreaking feature allows DJs to transmit music from a separate source such as an MP3 player to a lounge or cocktail room while simultaneously outputting high energy music from digital turntables to a main dance floor. Similarly, broadcasts from a microphone also can be selected to transmit separately to two different zones, allowing MC performances or announcements to be tailored to the appropriate areas. In standard mode, all four audio outputs are directed to one area such as a main dance floor.
Mic Check One-Two The DJM-5000 incorporates another industry first, an exclusive feature called Advanced Talk Over*, which attenuates the frequencies in the mid-range / vocal area of music being played while the microphone is in use. The Advanced Talk Over feature is designed to distinguish announcements made by the DJ and/or MC without lowering the entire volume output, which can often affect the energy of the event. The output of the feature can be adjusted accordingly in two levels through a dedicated control knob on the front panel. The DJM-5000 also includes three microphone inputs, two of which are independent balanced inputs for performances from an MC and/or vocalist. Each microphone channel has a dedicated volume control as well as a 3-band equalizer for increased tonal quality and control. In addition, the microphone section of the mixer is outfitted with four different effects: reverb, echo plus verb, octaver and pitch to further enhance vocal performances.
High Quality Audio Much like the DJM-1000 and the industry standard DJM-800, Pioneer also enhanced the output of the DJM-5000 by utilizing a 96kHz/24-bit analog to digital converter as well as a 32-bit digital signal processor (DSP) in the mixing process to ensure the highest audio quality output. In order to virtually eliminate interference generated by other products or power cords, the DJM-5000 employs a shorter signal path designed to reduce the effects of inherent noise, a high performance power supply to stabilize voltage, and shielded dual RCA inputs. Furthermore, for entertainers using compressed audio files, the DJM-5000 has been equipped with a built-in audio processor called Sound Maximizer to enhance low and high frequency ranges. The “Dynamics” function boosts sounds in the lower frequency range up to eight decibels for added bass response, which is particularly helpful when the music source is lacking low-end punch. The “Clarity” function adjusts the gain of the mid-high frequency range by up to an additional four decibels for a brighter and clearer overall sound. The clarity adjustment improves the sense of separation and distinction by emphasizing the mid-high range sounds, even at lower volume levels.
Enhanced Control and Connectivity The DJM-5000 is equipped with a six-channel (three stereo pairs) USB Audio Interface. The connection allows direct plug-in from a laptop computer** to the mixer over the USB connection without using an additional external sound card. The mixer is fully functional as a flexible MIDI controller. Sixty-one of the DJM-5000’s seventy-three buttons, knobs and sliders are assignable to transmit control data via MIDI signal to a laptop’s USB port while running any MIDI-compatible DJ software.
Additional Functions:
Digital Input: Two digital inputs allow the user to connect digital sources with digital outputs for the best possible signal quality without deterioration of the content.
Peak Level Meter: Each channel features a multi-colored, 10-segment / per channel LED meter to quickly view audio levels at a glance.
3-Band EQ: Equipped with a 3-band (High, Mid, Low) equalizer on each channel, the sound can be adjusted from –26dB to +6dB.
Cross Fader Assign: Users can easily assign channel output via the cross fader for increased flexibility.
Cross Fader Curve Adjust: Allows the curve of the cross fader to be adjusted to any of three patterns.
Fader Start Play: The mixer can automatically start/cue a connected device such as Pioneer’s CDJ or MEP players by simply sliding the cross fader or channel fader.
Rack Mount size: The mixer is a 5U by 19 inches wide rack mount size allowing for a variety of rack mount installation applications, ideal for clubs and studios.

On the top center section of the mixer resides its EFX capabilities to give DJs a bounty of digital effects. Located on each side of the middle section is its audio mixing controls for connection of up to four digital or USB sources. Across the middle section, Pioneer added new INST FX (Instant Instrument FX) functions which allow DJs to further alter and create more sound effects. And, at the bottom center of the mixer is a large LCD touch display that provides DJs a window for remixing beats and adding effects with the ease of a simple touch of the screen.
Industry First Multi-Touch Panel A first in the industry for audio mixers, the DJM-2000 incorporates a full-color 5.8-inch LCD multi-touch panel for adding audio effects. Users can simultaneously manipulate the displayed controls on the panel by touching different areas of the screen. Three different performance modes are available including:
Frequency mix – Enables more precise mixing within seven frequency ranges. For example, users can enhance the bass region within the music they’re mixing.
Sidechain remix – DJs can create seven different dynamic audio effects with touches and movements on the screen.
MIDI mode – Allows the user to assign various controls displayed on the LCD screen to control DJ software via MIDI. Four types of MIDI modes are available for more performance flexibility.
Evolved Beat Effects A section of the mixer resides an Evolved Beat Effects adopted from earlier versions of the DJM series of mixers to generate a multitude of sound effects. Numerous buttons were added for selecting multiple effects and beat parameters for additional performance capabilities. Further manipulation of the sound effects can be made using the Effect Frequency knobs that changes the low, mid and high frequency bands of the music. Turns of the knobs enhances the effects to each frequency band, i.e., an echo added specifically to the vocals of the music or a doubling of the hi-hat rhythm, providing incredible performance options.
Instant Instrument FX The INST FX (Instant Instrument FX) provides six additional audio effects that include Noise, HPF, LPF, Jet, Zip and Crush. Each of the effects can be induced into the channel with a turn of the Filter knob. Additionally, the Parameter knob allows the effects to be fine tuned.
