The ultra-compact 150-watt Yorkville YSS2 active studio subwoofer is the ideal companion for any DAW, project or midi studio where additional bottom end in the monitoring system is required, yet space may be at a premium. Designed for easy hook-up to any source, the YSS2 offers stereo RCA In/Outs for connection between mixer and active monitors, as well as speaker push-terminal In/Outs for connection between power amplifier and passive monitors. In either case, the stereo inputs are internally summed to mono for the YSS2’s power module.
Rear panel features on the YSS2 include a Level control, a Phase inversion switch and a 50 to 200Hz “Crossover” control for low-pass filter regulation of the YSS2’s upper frequencies so that it can be matched with the natural bass-rolloff of full-range monitors. The back panel also features a 3-postion power switch with an Auto setting that instantly powers up the YSS2’s amplifier when signal appears at either the RCA or speaker-tab inputs.

The BM 9S subwoofer is intended to operate with the BM series monitors, more specifically, the BM 5A monitor. It is extremely well-suited for that extra punch to the bottom in setups where space is limited. The BM 9S delivers a clear, crispy and surprisingly powerful punch when you take its almost diminutive size into account. The BM 9S will complement stereo and multichannel monitoring equally well and when daisy-chaining of subwoofers is needed, it sports a low level LFE input/output.
For significant control and enhancement of the general performance, the BM 9S is a closed cabinet type. This creates an internal pressure by which the woofer gains a considerable amount of precision when it comes to the reproduction of low frequent signals. This precision is easily audible and it augments the feeling of reality that the listener experiences.
The BM 9S is very suitable for the following production environments:
Post Production
Music Recording and Mixing
Film Editing (smaller rooms)
DVD authoring and Mastering
Multichannel Production (Audio or Audio for pictures)
Broadcast

The BM 9S is designed according to the strict BM series specifications. With a 10” woofer and 200 Watts of power, and virtually minute dimensions, this sub is tailor-made to take care of even the most comprehensive challenges where space is scarce. Being every bit as versatile as the rest of the BM series, BM 9S is a very competent partner for smaller stereo and multichannel setups, giving a very powerful system for even the most demanding users across the globe.
The Auto On/Off function, provides a minimized idle energy usage by shutting off after minutes of no input signal. The auto sensing circuit enables BM9S to automatically come to life when input signal is detected.
The satellite filters that this sub sports, provides high-pass filtering of the monitor source signal allowing 60Hz or 80Hz corner frequencies. This is a huge advantage for the monitor performance, as the satellites do not need to deal with power consuming lower frequencies. This leaves all the satellite power to greatly accelerate performance and precision.

The BM 14S subwoofer is perfectly aligned for operation with the BM and M series monitors. For larger multichannel setups with e.g. five M1.5's, multiple BM 14S's will be a preferred choice.
The BM 14S is designed to take care of the most challenging requests and it will compliment larger stereo and multichannel setups in even the most demanding studios.
The BM 14S has been designed as a closed cabinet type subwoofer. This type of cabinet design gives you significant control and enhancement of the general performance as the closed cabinet creates an internal pressure. This adds considerably to the amount of accurately reproduced low frequency signals. When audio reproduction is more accurate, it will add to the sense of reality, and the BM 14S ensures exactly that.
The BM 14S is very suitable for the following production environments:
Post Production
Music Recording and Mixing
Film Editing
DVD authoring and Mastering
Multichannel Production (Audio or Audio for pictures)

With a substantial 300 watts of power coming from the 12” woofer and an impressive low frequency limit of 18 Hz, this subwoofer is the perfect match for the BM and M series monitors. With an auto On/Off function, energy usage shuts off after minutes of no input signal, thereby saving energy when the subwoofer is idle. As soon as an input is detected, the auto sensing circuit enables the subwoofer to come back to life.
A satellite filter feature is provided by the BM 14S, enabling adjustment of low-pass corner frequencies from 50 to 150Hz of the monitor source signal. The subwoofer will thus take care of the lower and power consuming frequencies, and thereby adding to the performance and clarity of the monitors in the system. This is due to the high-pass filtering feature that the BM 14S comes with. If the need arises to daisy-chain more subwoofers to the same system, the low level LFE output gives you exactly that choice.
